Straight answers, before you start.
Can staff take orders at the counter or table?
Yes. The WIIL order terminal takes counter and table orders from the same menu. Open a tab per table, send rounds to the kitchen, split the check by seat and take card, cash or a payment link. The host stand seats bookings and walk-ins and runs the waitlist.
Do guests pay a deposit to book a table?
No. Table bookings are always free, so guests book without entering payment details. Deposits and prepayments are not supported for tables.
What happens when a special sells out?
Give it a daily prep count. Every order counts it down, and at zero it stops being offered. The count resets at the start of the next business day.
Can guests choose their table?
Guests can ask for a window seat, a high chair or a birthday setup, and WIIL notes it on the booking. WIIL seats each party at the smallest free table that fits, and your staff can move the booking afterwards.
Can WIIL arrange delivery?
Guests can order for delivery to a saved address. WIIL does not quote delivery fees in conversations yet, so the delivery orders it takes carry no delivery charge and you arrange the courier your usual way.
What if a customer wants a person?
Human handoff is on every plan. You decide when WIIL brings someone in, and that person gets a summary and the latest messages, so the customer never repeats themselves. Higher plans can route conversations to named staff.
